Mapping Specifications

Accurate specifications are critical to success. Requesting the wrong level of detail, or mapping beyond boundaries roughly estimated could increase costs & delay schedules:

• Determine optimum accuracy and detail including contour interval and map scale
  (e.g. rivers and buildings vs. sprinkler heads and golf ball washers).
• Do you need contours, imagery, or both?
• Avoid increasing costs by accurately defining your area(s) of interest e.g. latitude / longitude or UTM coordinates.
